Teaser Image New Mitsubishi Design Direction

Heard about the new Mitsubishi design direction? If you're a Mitsubishi lover or auto enthusiast in general, chances are the answer is "yes." For a while, the automaker has been hinting at upcoming changes yet we haven't really seen the talk turn to action. Until now that is.

Sparking curiosity among automotive purveyors, Mitsubishi revealed a teaser image for a completely new, forthcoming Mitsubishi model. The only problem? All we can see is a smidge of the mysterious vehicle's front end. From the looks of it, our best guess is that the tiny bit of car belongs to a truck or crossover. Either way, it shows a heavily-contoured hood and whispers the automaker's new engineering-driven design.

As we alluded to earlier, this revealed image and the larger vehicle to which it is attached, signify that Mitsubishi is indeed about to shake things up. While we can't pin exact design cues to the board, a recent company press release indicates that it is "envisages as an open design concept, meant to be flexible enough to suit specific vehicle requirements whilst staging Mitsubishi's famous Three Diamond logo accordingly."1

In addition to serving as the first glance at the Mitsubishi future, the upcoming Geneva model will take on another first as well. Under the company's "Jump 2013" business plan, Mitsubishi will release a slew of new global products with the mysterious model as number one on the queue.

At this point, a whole host of questions might be flooding into your mind. If such is the case, don't hesitate to contact Lovering Mitsubishi and ask away. We may not be able to provide a ton of vehicle detail regarding the teaser image but are more than willing to share what we can. Until Geneva comes and Mitsubishi brings more information to light, feel free to check out the comprehensive lineup of new Mitsubishi models at 95 Manchester Street Concord, NH 03301.
