Lovering Mitsubishi

Have you seen the rumors online about a possible race car variant for the new EV, Mitsubishi i? No? Well fear not, we've got the scoop! No idea if that model, if it were produced, would be seen at Lovering Mitsubishi in Concord, New Hampshire, but it will take on Pikes Peak race course this summer.

There are green vehicles. And then, there is the Mitsubishi i-MiEV. You see, to place the innovative Mitsubishi electric on the same level as other eco-friendly automobiles just wouldn't feel right. Don't worry, this isn't merely our bias towards new Mitsubishi vehicles talking. We have the credentials to back it up.

Automakers have the right to change their minds regarding model release dates...and change their minds they certainly do. That's why Lovering Mitsubishi makes sure to stay up to date with the information we're delivering to those in the Concord area. Last month we announced that the Mitsubishi i was named "Most Fuel-Efficient for 2012" by the Environmental Protection Agency. Well, now we'd like to follow up with even more good news. Mitsubishi has decided to bump up the EV model's December 2012 release date to this coming July!

In the context of automobiles, "green" has always referred to the amount of fuel a model consumes and thus how many or few CO² emissions it produces. Lovering Mitsubishi is a huge proponent of moving forward in the area of more efficiency and lower emissions, however, we recognize that fuel isn't the only automotive element that can be "greenified." So when we heard that Mitsubishi is in the processes of developing plant-based materials that can be used throughout the entirety of new Mitsubishi models, we were more than a bit ecstatic.
