In order to garner that kind of awareness, Mitsubishi has launched a new campaign of grand proportions. The automaker delivered somewhere around 1,000 2012 Mitsubishi i electric vehicles (MiEV) to Normal, Illinois as part of an effort to turn the town into the EV capital of the United States.
