Earlier this year, everyone thought the 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo would be the end of the high-performance halo car. In fact, Mitsubishi President Osamu Masuko has confirmed that an eleventh-generation Lancer Evo will come in the form a hybrid-diesel vehicle.

Creating a more environmentally savvy world is a pretty big task and therefore deserves some pretty major attention. In order to garner that kind of awareness, Mitsubishi has launched a new campaign of grand proportions. The automaker delivered somewhere around 1,000 2012 Mitsubishi i electric vehicles (MiEV) to Normal, Illinois as part of an effort to turn the town into the EV capital of the United States.
