State Vehicle Inspections
New Hampshire State Inspection and Emissions Test
Lovering Mitsubishi in Concord offers New Hampshire state inspections to the greater Manchester area. All new vehicles must undergo an authorized inspection test within ten days of registration. The owner must then have the vehicle re-inspected every year, by no later than the last day of their birth month. If the vehicle changes owners, it must be reinspected ten days after the new registration, even if the previous inspection sticker is still valid.
OK. So Why Lovering?
Having your primary mode of transport in the shop is rarely convenient. Sometimes there’s no other choice, so we do our best to make the temporary absence of your vehicle a little less frustrating, with the following courtesy services:
- A quiet and comfortable waiting area with free Wi-Fi
- Free shuttle rides within a ten mile radius of our dealership
- Low-cost loaner vehicles
- Discounts on area rentals
After your vehicle passes its inspection, our service team will issue you a Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) and electronically transmit the results to the DMV. We will also issue you a valid inspection sticker. Before we can do all this, though, our experienced, ASE certified team of technicians thoroughly checks the following items:
- Brake system
- Steering, front end, and suspension
- Tires and wheels
- Electrical system, horn, and defroster
- Lights and reflectors
- Glass and mirrors
- Body, chassis, and bumper height
- Fuel system
1996 and newer vehicles must also undergo an On-Board Diagnostics test (OBD). This test helps our technicians detect more obscure problems with your emissions system, and allows us to inform you of them before they become larger problems.
Cost and Scheduling an Appointment
For vehicles newer than or from model year 1996, the cost of an inspection is $39.95. For anything older, the price is just $19.95. To make an appointment with Lovering Mitsubishi, feel free to either give us a call or schedule with our team online.
